In Japanese, ‘naru’ means ‘to become’
Clay becomes pottery as you transform yourself.
Clay records every moment of presence. Working with it means learning to be, to breathe and to wait.
Pottery is one of the world’s oldest crafts, and also one of the most honest: it cannot be rushed, nor can it be faked. Naru Alchemical Pottery was born out of the conviction that shaping earth, water, fire and air can be a means of gaining knowledge and achieving inner transformation.

Testimonials
SARA
A fantastic place to learn ceramics gradually, covering various techniques and finishes. Mercedes is not only a great teacher but also very patient and charming. She’s always bringing new things to try, including different glazes and techniques. The atmosphere in class is wonderful; there are only a few of us, which helps with learning.
JESSICA MARTÍNEZ
A spectacular space to connect with that creative side we sometimes neglect. Mercedes is patient and attentive, able to understand each student’s needs and desires, lovingly guiding them through the process of creating pieces and learning ceramics. A great team, along with Ale!
